I am simply astounded how often I see butterflies now that I take the time to look for them. They are everywhere, and they are beautiful. Here is another view of the previous picture.

This gorgeous creature was photographed just outside my house today, July 23, 2005. It is resting, feeding, on an echinacea flower. Simply stunning!
